Sinai Desert is which is located in Egypt and the desert is full of diversity. The desert is also known as the “Land of Fayrouz” which means turquoise which is to the fact that the ancient turquoise mines of south Sinai, which provided the pharaohs with the abundant decorations on amulets and burial masks.

Mount Sinai, also referred to as Mount Horeb in the Bible, is the place Moses is said to have received the ten commandments (Exodus 19, Deuteronomy).  It is also the location Elijah is said to have run to when he fled from Jezebel (1 Kings 19).
